Kenwood Designs is a West Coast custom woodworking business specializing in the manufacture of high quality custom-made kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and bathroom furniture including tub surrounds, built-in cabinets for any room, millwork and commercial displays.
Our custom wood furniture is created in many different styles and designs. Our pieces include dinning room furniture, desks, china hutches, dressers, conference tables, wine racks and entertainment units only to list a few. Custom wood storage cabinets include closets and walk-in closets, Bathroom Cabinet, wine rooms, home entertainment storage cabinetry, mudroom and entryway cabinets.
Kenwood Designs works directly with an individual or company to meet their custom woodworking needs. Kenwood Cabinets has a reputation for integrity of design and attention to detail and works collaboratively with homeowners, kitchen and interior designers and architects.
Kenwood has extensive wood working experience with traditional cabinet woods such as Cherry, Ash, Walnut and Oak. However, innovation is prized at Kenwood's Cabinets and the company has now become a leader in utilizing unique local West Coast wood species for their custom kitchen cabinets and wood furniture. Cabinets from clear, edge grain Douglas Fir or Hemlock, along with Western Alder, Big Leaf Figured Maple, Black Locust and Yew Wood are setting a new standard in custom shower cabin in North America.
These beautiful woods are selectively logged, milled and kiln-dried locally for storage on site. When a custom kitchen cabinet or wood furniture order is taken, the wood for that project is specially selected for grain and color. From there, the Kenwood staff takes the design through all stages of construction and then on to the final sanding and finishing.
